PTSD & Trauma Treatment in Everett, WA
What happened shaped you. It doesn’t have to define you.
Trauma-informed psychiatric care that moves at a pace your nervous system allows — in Everett or by telehealth anywhere in Washington.
Trauma & PTSD in adults.
Trauma can come from a single event — an accident, an assault, a sudden loss — or from experiences that went on for years. Afterward, your mind and body may stay on high alert long after the danger has passed. That isn’t weakness. It’s a protective system working overtime.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is highly treatable. Our care is trauma-informed from the first conversation: you decide what to share and when, and we focus on safety, stability, and rebuilding a sense of control.
Common signs
- Intrusive memories, nightmares, or flashbacks
- Avoiding people, places, or reminders
- Feeling constantly on guard or easily startled
- Trouble sleeping or concentrating
- Irritability or sudden anger
- Feeling numb, detached, or disconnected
- Persistent guilt, shame, or self-blame
- Using alcohol or substances to cope
Only a qualified clinician can diagnose a mental health condition. If several of these sound familiar, an evaluation is a good next step.

How telehealth worksCommon questions.
Do I have to talk about my trauma in detail?
No. You stay in control of what you share and when. Many effective first steps focus on stabilization and coping skills before anything else.
Can PTSD develop years after an event?
Yes. Symptoms sometimes appear or intensify long after a traumatic experience, often triggered by stress, reminders, or major life changes.
Is PTSD only for veterans?
No. PTSD can follow many kinds of experiences, including accidents, violence, medical trauma, abuse, or sudden loss. We also accept TRICARE West for military families.
Can trauma treatment happen over telehealth?
Yes. Many people find it easier to begin from a space where they already feel safe. Telehealth is available anywhere in Washington.
