Grief & Loss Support in Everett, WA
Grief is love with nowhere to go.
Compassionate support through the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a pregnancy, or a life you expected — in Everett or by telehealth statewide.
Grief & Loss in adults.
There is no right way to grieve and no deadline for it. Grief can bring sadness, numbness, anger, guilt, relief, and exhaustion — sometimes all in one day. For most people, the intensity gradually softens, even as the loss remains part of life.
Sometimes grief gets stuck. When months pass and the pain still makes daily life feel impossible, or grief turns into depression, anxiety, or trouble sleeping, focused support can help you carry the loss in a way that lets life continue.
Common signs
- Intense longing or preoccupation with the loss
- Difficulty accepting that the loss happened
- Feeling that life has lost meaning
- Avoiding reminders or, the opposite, being unable to leave them
- Persistent guilt or “what ifs”
- Withdrawal from friends and activities
- Sleep and appetite changes
- Grief that still feels as raw many months later
Only a qualified clinician can diagnose a mental health condition. If several of these sound familiar, an evaluation is a good next step.

How telehealth worksCommon questions.
How long is grief supposed to last?
There’s no set timeline. Many people find the sharpest pain eases over months, while the loss stays with them in a softer way. If grief remains overwhelming and disabling a year or more after a death, it may be prolonged grief disorder, which is treatable.
Is it grief or depression?
They can overlap. Grief tends to come in waves tied to the loss, while depression is more constant and often includes feelings of worthlessness. We can help sort out which is which.
Do you help with losses other than death?
Yes — divorce, the end of a relationship, pregnancy loss, health changes, job loss, or a move can all bring real grief.
Can grief support be done by telehealth?
Yes. Many people find it easier to talk from home. Telehealth is available anywhere in Washington.
