A clear starting point for your healing.

A comprehensive 60-minute assessment to understand what you’re experiencing — emotionally, psychologically, and behaviorally — and build a treatment plan around it.

About This Service

Psychiatric Evaluation.

A psychiatric evaluation is the foundation of effective mental health care. It’s where we listen carefully to your story, gather a clear clinical picture, and arrive at a working diagnosis together. There’s no pressure to disclose more than you’re ready to. We move at your pace.

Common signs we treat

  • Persistent low mood or anxiety
  • Sleep changes or fatigue
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Mood swings or irritability
  • Trouble managing daily life
  • Past trauma surfacing
  • Considering medication options
How We Work

A clear, collaborative approach.

Treatment isn’t something we do to you — it’s something we build together.

01

Comprehensive Listening

We start by hearing your story — current symptoms, history, family background, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping for.

02

Clinical Assessment

Using validated tools and clinical interviewing, we develop a clear understanding of what you’re experiencing.

03

Working Diagnosis

When appropriate, we arrive at a diagnosis together — not as a label, but as a roadmap for treatment.

04

Personalized Plan

You leave with a clear treatment plan — therapy, medication, or both — tailored to your goals.

Frequently Asked

Common questions.

How long does the evaluation take?

The initial psychiatric evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are typically 30–45 minutes.

What should I bring?

A list of your current medications, any past mental health records if available, and your insurance card. Everything else, we talk through together.

Is the evaluation in person or telehealth?

Both options are available. Many patients prefer telehealth for convenience, but in-person can feel more grounding for first visits if you prefer.

Will I get a diagnosis right away?

Sometimes — but often the first session is about gathering information. A clear diagnosis may emerge over the first 1–2 visits, and we always discuss it openly with you.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Take the first step today. We’ll meet you where you are.
