Burnout Support & Treatment in Everett, WA
Running on empty isn’t sustainable — or required.
Help for exhaustion, cynicism, and the feeling that you have nothing left to give — in Everett or by telehealth anywhere in Washington.
Burnout in adults.
Burnout builds slowly: long hours, constant demands, little recovery, and a growing sense that nothing you do is enough. It can come from work, caregiving, school, or simply carrying too much for too long. Healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, and caregivers are especially familiar with it.
Burnout isn’t a formal psychiatric diagnosis on its own, but it often overlaps with depression, anxiety, and insomnia — and those are very treatable. We help you figure out what’s going on and build a realistic path back to energy and meaning.
Common signs
- Exhaustion that rest doesn’t fix
- Dreading work or responsibilities
- Cynicism or feeling detached from people you serve
- Reduced performance despite effort
- Irritability and short temper
- Trouble sleeping or switching off
- Physical signs like headaches or stomach issues
- Feeling ineffective or that nothing matters
Only a qualified clinician can diagnose a mental health condition. If several of these sound familiar, an evaluation is a good next step.

How telehealth worksCommon questions.
Is burnout the same as depression?
Not exactly. Burnout is tied to chronic stress, often from work, while depression affects all areas of life. They overlap often, and untreated burnout can lead to depression.
Can you help me if I can’t change my job right now?
Yes. Many people can’t simply quit. We focus on what you can change — how you recover, set limits, and manage symptoms — while you think about bigger decisions.
Can I get a note for work or leave?
Every situation is different. If you’re considering time off, bring it up during your visit and we’ll discuss what’s clinically appropriate.
I barely have time for an appointment. What are my options?
